Five days left of the "You'd Be Way Cuter In A Coffin Tour," but we're not stopping there! We're going right back out on the road with Alesana starting February 13th. The tour is called The Emptiness and joining the line-up will be A Skylit Drive, Of Mice & Men and We Came As Romans.
All the tour dates are listed below. Tickets will be available for pre-sale this Wednesday and on sale Friday and Saturday. We just wrapped up our tour this weekend with Silverstein, Madina Lake, I See Stars & Closure in Moscow. We had so much fun on the tour, we can't believe it's already over! We wanted to thank all of the bands and most importantly, each one of you that made it out to one of the shows! While on the road we filmed a crazy amount of footage that we used to create 2 tour video updates. You can check out the first video below to see all that went down while we we're on the tour. We'll post part 2 next week, so keep a look out for it! So by now everyone SHOULD know that our new album "Empire" has been out for a couple of weeks now, we hope all of you guys have a copy and that you are digging the new tunes. We are really proud of the songs and love all the great feedback we have been getting.

TWA fans our day is finally here! You guys have been so incredibly patient and supportive over the last 14 months or so, you are just as much a part of this as we are. "EMPIRE" hits stores today as well as on iTUNES. Whether you go to a store and grab a physical copy (or 20 haha) or if you feel like just owning our EP digitally, we just ask that you try and support our first ever release.
We have the best fans out there, and it's rare that after only 14 months of being a band to have such passionate and dedicated fans like you guys. We couldn't be happier with how our cd came out, recording with Andrew Wade was an experience we'll never forget. By the way he's recording a album in Rome pretty soon, so go tell him thank you and not to forget his pocket of TWA he carries around ;)
Overall, we just can't say thank you enough. We appreciate all the support, the myspace comments, messages, twitter posts, RT's, and everything else you guys do for us on a regular basis. We have some HUGE things coming up for us in the Fall and Winter, which will just mean getting to see more and more of you! So today, let's celebrate this release together, because it's all of ours. We love you guys, and if you're in Arizona, we hope to see you at the CD RELEASE SHOW @ The Sets tonight.
Last but not least, we want to thank our amazing record label, Fearless Records for believing in us, pushing us, and making our dreams come true. We deeply regret having to tell you we will not be able to play Warped Tour Pomona on the 26th of June as we've previously announced. While many of you know, this is for the ones who don't. Tony Aguilera our drummer is in the Virgin Islands and while we had a fill-in drummer, it just kept falling through on us. We didn't give up until last night. Telle was admitted to the Emergency Room for a number of problems that had persisted since dropping off the last 2 days of the New Nu Metal Tour. His diagnosis was a bleeding stomach ulcer, bronchitis and a fever.
With this, we made the decision that it just wasn't worth pushing our singers health, and potentially missing MORE shows coming up as well as the fact that we wouldn't be playing our very first Warped Tour as a whole. We do want to apologize for not being able to make it, especially Ben from SmartPunk for offering up such an amazing opportunity. We'll do everything in our power to get on the road and see every single one of you as often as possible.
With all this being said, we want to do something to try and make amends. At least in some way. So instead of waiting to post our next BRAND NEW SONG after "Quit While You're Ahead" hits 175,000 plays on our Myspace (www.myspace.com/thewordalive) , we're going to give it to you right now.
Thank you all for your well wishes for Telle, your understanding of missing the last 2 shows of tour as well as Pomona's Warped Tour. It really means a lot to us that you guys have backed us so much recently. Thank you for pre-ordering the cd, it's made it to #1 on Smartpunk because you YOU GUYS! Hey Everyone, Today we have two new tours to announce! The first tour is only about a week long starting on July 10th and ending on July 17th. We'll be out with Evergreen Terrace, Thick as Blood and Unholy.

Hey everybody, we know this may feel long overdue, however we've been working hard and preparing everything the way it needs to be for the upcoming release of our cd. We decided to post "BATTLE ROYALE" up on our Myspace first because we feel like it's a good representation of what we've created on our debut EP. We have had a great time recording the new album, it's safe to say that it's the most fun any of us have ever had creating music, and it's what we're all most proud of.
